
Vancouver – the Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to Vancouver, Mohammad Salem Wahdat, participated at the introduction of Canadian Women for Women in Afghanistan’s Darakht-e Danesh Library at Caravan Studios in Burnaby, BC.
Dr. Lauryn Oats the Executive Director of Canadian Women for Women in Afghanistan and Abdul Rahim Parwani talked about Canadian Women for Women in Afghanistan (CW4WAfghan) achievements since it established, and introduced Darakht-e Danesh Online Library (https://www.ddl.af/en) to the audience, which is the first online library for Afghanistan.
Consul General, Mohammad Salem Wahdat, appreciate the achievements that CW4WAfghan have been doing. Mr. Wahdat also promised to support CW4WAfhgan organization to provide a room for Afghans living in Vancouver to have access to the Darakht-e Danesh online and offline library at the Afghanistan Consulate General office.
