
On November 16, 2017, Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to British Columbia - Canada, Mohammad Salem Wahdat had a courtesy call with Honorable Bruce Ralston, Minister of Jobs, Trade, and Technology.
The Ministry of Jobs, Trade, and Technology manages government services that help support and maintain the strong and diverse economy in British Columbians. It is the ministry’s mandate to grow B.C.’s technology sector, champion innovation, nurture small businesses, support economic development throughout the province, and promote B.C. internationally as a preferred place to invest and do business.
At this meeting, Mohammad Salem Wahdat, Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, praised and appreciated Canadian’s continues commitment to support Afghanistan, and scarifies that they made in Afghanistan - combating terrorism to bring freedom and democracy in Afghanistan.
Honorable Bruce Ralston affirmed Canadian commitment to support Afghanistan for a bright and prospective future, he also expressed that British Columbia’s government continues their assistance for Afghans living in British Columbia for better and easy integration to Canadian society.
