CBC Radio 3 and Grant Lawrence's show got up bright and early on Monday morning to host a skating party downtown at Robson Square. Making an appearance at the rink were Ladyhawk, Hannah Georgas, Dan Mangan and Dan Moxon (Bend Sinister).

A couple of weeks ago we attended the CBC open house where they unveiled their new Vancouver building to the city, inviting everybody to come down and check it out, listen to some bands play for free, etc.

We give a lot of love to the Peak 100.5 FM and CBC Radio 3 here at V.I.A.. I wonder if in 20 years or so we'll still be coming across awesome, vintage relics from their past marketing campaigns on windows of apartment buildings...

The first time I ever met now-longtime V.I.A. contributor, Calen Knauf , he went off on a tangent about the beauty of hard candy.
